ESOL Capstone Project

This activity was meant to increase Sang's comprehension when he is read to. I would read a short story, only a few sentences long, and as him 3 comprehension questions after each one. He did not retain the stories well, as he didn't answer any questions correctly until I reread the story at least once, sometimes more than once. I was hoping that doing this a few times would help grow his comprehension skills, but I would have needed much more time to work with him than just a few weeks.
